We are launching a couple of the most exciting projects we have
ever considered. The first project is the production of a global film documentary entitled “Love Begins With Me”
in which people from around the world will contribute video segments showing how they express and experience unconditional
love in their lives.
The second project is the launching of a heart-centered social participation
movement of which you are already an integral part. (We’ll tell you all about that one in another upcoming email in
the next few days.) |

We Invite You to Participate
The aim of the film, called ‘Love Begins
With Me’, is to show that many people everywhere already do love unconditionally (like you!), and to inspire other
people around the globe to love unconditionally too.
We invite you to take part in or contribute to the film by making short videos with your video camera, cell/mobile
phone camera or Skype, etc., in which you show the world how you and others express universal love and give from your heart
in the many ways you do.
We plan to complete
this particular project in time for a public premiere viewing on May 1st, 2012 to correspond with Global Love Day. It
is ambitious but we feel it is do-able in that short time. Submit your video for consideration by February 15, 2012. For

This will be a non-commercial project purposefully
produced on a very low, almost zero, budget with the help of The Love Foundation’s many generous volunteers as a way
to showcase the collaborative and social participation from individuals worldwide.
Get Involved  If you’d like to become involved in this wonderful project, we ask you to consider the following:
1. Do you have, or could you obtain/use, digital camera equipment (even some cell phones can record video)
to produce good quality video? (this could be done through Skype and/or a webcam as well) 2. Would you be
able to record and produce a short (say 1 - 10 minutes long) video illustrating how you love unconditionally, or how other
people you may know love unconditionally? 3. Would you be willing to interview people ‘on the street’
or in some other informal setting, asking questions about unconditional love. Such questions could be: “Do
you love yourself unconditionally?”, and/or “What do you understand to be unconditional love?” or “What
does unconditional love mean to you? Give examples”, or “How can you visualize the world as a loving place?”
4. Do you know of other people who could produce their own videos illustrating unconditional love? 5.
Would you be able to upload videos to YouTube for us to view them? 6. Would you be able to meet our
deadline of February 15th 2012?
Wherever I Am... What the world needs now is to see the
love in people’s hearts working its special magic, healing, soothing, caring, comforting, helping, guiding, giving
and changing everything. We hope you’ll agree that this is an amazing and timely project which could have far-reaching
effects in inspiring people to love unconditionally while also giving people reason to feel optimistic about the future,
despite the way things may appear in their lives, their country and the world.

movement that acknowledges
and encourages the goodness that surrounds us
each and every day. Entitled All Nations Love, this new project
is
our collective opportunity to collaborate locally to inspire and
highlight the kindness, caring, dignity and
honesty that is the natural
and greater part of our daily experience. Simply stated, "Every nation
has a
heart, it is time to let yours shine."
We are also thrilled by your immediate and wonderful feedback,
comments
and desire to participate in our production of the global film
documentary entitled "Love Begins
With Me." We know this is going to be

A Personal
Note from Harold…
Since launching The Love Foundation in 2000, I have had the privilege
and honor to personally and virtually connect with people in over 150
countries. The most astounding part of this
unfolding journey is the
humbling experience of the strength and depth of heart so many people
have all around
our beautiful planet; truly the majority of people in
each and every nation.
The
courage and dedication of countless people striving to live in
peace, genuine kindness and in harmony with one another
is
extraordinary. Despite the many ongoing challenges, we set aside our
differences and work diligently in our
daily encounters with each other
to help one another.
I know this is contrary to
what is portrayed in media, news and official
presentations, yet if we stop for just a moment and consider the many,
many experiences we have with friends, family and community, it is
obvious the greater expression is one of kindheartedness.
When given the
opportunity, people come from love, as it is the natural and innate
essence that connects us all.
Yes, we still stumble over momentary judgments and opinions, become
sidetracked with
doubt and fear, and perhaps occasionally engage in
argument and conflict, yet these are always temporary expressions.
Ultimately it is our heart that guides us and our compassion that
motivates us to help
one another.
It is precisely this fundamental understanding that inspired me to
initiate
this new project – All Nations Love. It is time for each of
us to reconnect with the goodness in ourselves and
each other, and to
cultivate this with every fiber of our being. We are the people of this
world and we are all
part of one great heart.
Please consider becoming a part of this initiative by being a
leading
example of collaboration, cooperation and compassion right where you
are. Share your stories, wisdom,
kindness and encouragement with each
other locally. Inspire the people of your country by your personal and
universal
love. Show all of us on our precious planet how the people of
each nation embody the true nature of our collective goodness.
It is
time. Let every nation's heart shine.

All Nations Love is designed as a heart-based social participation
movement that brings people together within their culture, community,
and nation while inspiring collaboration with
other nations and people
from around the world. It is our way of uniting heart to heart, nation
to nation.
To encourage this movement of universal goodness, we propose that the
people of each
nation (that is you!) launch your own version of this
project to begin this process of social collaboration. Beginning
right in your own community and neighborhood or taking it to the scale
of your whole nation, start sharing your stories,
images, videos,
personal and social interactions, whatever brings awareness of the heart
and soul of your culture
and the incredible potential that you know your
country is capable of. Use your social networks to share, collaborate,
and inspire. Be innovative. Be kind. Show the world you care deeply for
humanity, the environment and the very essence
of life on our planet.
Here at The Love Foundation, since we are based in the US, we are
launching America Loves and will have a website soon that can act as a
creative idea center for how you can begin
this social effort in your
nation. We will also have pages on Facebook, Twitter and Google +. Of
course, as each
of you develop your initiatives, we look forward to
learning many new things from you as well.
The potential of this social presentation is boundless. We are
initiating this on national levels to stimulate
the potential of each
great nation – and they are all great! You can also share it on a
state, city,
village and community level if you prefer. Think what an
impact we will have as we begin to show the world that Kenya
Loves,
England Loves, Nigeria Loves, and Japan Loves, for example. And on
city levels, Sydney Loves,
Kathmandu Loves, Montreal Loves, Chennai
Loves. You may even want to start a movement on your campus, school,
association or in your company.
The more we continue to show one another how much
love we all have, love
itself will expand and become our collective experience. Every person
in every nation
has a heart, it is time to let ours shine.

The 26th amendment (granting
the right to vote for 18-year-olds) took only 3 months & 8 days to be ratified! Why? Simple! The people demanded it. That
was in 1971 .
. . before computer, before e-mail, before cell phones, etc.
Of
the 27 amendments to the constitution, seven (7) took 1 year or less to become the law of the land . . . all because of public
pressure.
I'm
asking you to forward this e-mail to a minimum of twenty people; in turn, ask each of those to do likewise.
In three days, most people in
The United States of America will have the message. This is one idea that really should be passed around.
Congressional
Reform Act of 2011

Senate terms

No Tenure / No Pension
Members of Congress receive a salary while in office,
that salary
ends when they leave office.

Congress members (past, present & future) are to participate in Social Security.
All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system
All
future funds flow into the Social Security system,
and Congress participates with all Americans.
4. Congress can purchase their own retirement
plan, just as all Americans do.
5. Congress will no longer vote themselves a
pay raise.
Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.
6. Congress loses their current health care
system and participates in the same health care system as the American
people.
7. Members of Congress must equally abide by
all laws they impose on the American people.
8. All contracts with past and present members
of Congress are void effective 1/1/12.
The American people did not make the contract members of Congress
enjoy, Congress made all
these contracts for themselves.
Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career.
The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators,
so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back
to work.
If
each person contacts a minimum of twenty people, then it will only take three days for most people (in the U.S. ) to receive
the message. Maybe it is time.

Subject: $1 trillion for nukes? For real?
Dear friend,
For $1 trillion, you could provide
basic education, clean water, and
basic healthcare for millions of people around the world.
That's why
the analysis we just released (which appeared in today's
Financial Times) is so shocking: *never-before-seen data exposing
plans
by world leaders to spend $1 trillion on nuclear weapons over the next
10 years*. Here in the United States,
that's about $60 billion a year on
useless, cold war relics that don't address today's security threats,
and in
fact pose the greatest danger to the world. *$60 billion for
nukes while funding for schools and hospitals gets slashed?!*
Enough is enough. It's time to remind our leaders what really matters.

you have to cut the budget, start with nukes, not the things that we

Politicians say a lot of things, but it is where they put our money that
shows their true priorities. By making nukes spending part of the
national budget conversation, we are reminding them
that they work for
us, and we expect them to use our money responsibly.

The Journey of Unconditional Love
The journey of life takes a new direction when we become
aware of the power of unconditional love residing within our heart every moment. This awareness begins a new approach to
life that leads to personal peace, natural harmony and genuine inner wealth. It also changes the very fabric of society
as we begin to consciously express this unlimited love. Everything and everyone is noticeably affected by this energy as
we move through our daily life with each step and encounter with one another.
Being conscious of love ignites the spark that makes all things new and restores the wholeness
where we once thought we were incomplete. This is the energy and wisdom that bridges all the diverse worlds, thoughts and
perspectives and restores our innate connection to all things. Love, and more appropriately, unconditional love is that
which brings peace and understanding within where a moment before it seemed nonexistent and perhaps even impossible.
So how does one realize this simple change of attitude? It
begins with a desire to know who we are as a being upon this earthly plane. It is a shift in perspective from seeking in
desperation outside ourselves for fulfillment to turning our attention within. By beginning the process of conscious awakening,
we start to notice and observe who we are in relation to who we think we are. This subtle shift brings enormous change in
personal understanding. We see with new eyes, hear with new ears and perceive a parallel world that always existed yet was
blocked out of our consciousness by our own limiting beliefs.
I
am often asked, “How do we begin this process?” My response is that to ask this question means it has already
started. Such is the nature of self conscious realization – we begin to ask new questions about life since we are
no longer interested in the old habits we have been experiencing. For me, this is not necessarily a spiritual or philosophical
journey; rather I liken it to a practical approach of common sense and deliberate effort to “know thyself” and
with ever increasing self acceptance, to also “love thyself and all others without condition or limitation”.
Each of us is a potent source of love when we allow this
energy to express naturally. There is nothing we have to ultimately do, rather we allow ourselves to feel and be love. It
is that simple. However, for so many, love is hidden under layers of hurt, trauma, drama, pain and suffering. Emotional
memories, unspoken doubt, fear, resentment and a multitude of old beliefs often keep us from realizing that these thoughts
and feelings have no real power over us. We give them power by living in the past and being afraid of the future. We ignore
the love that is present every moment by embracing limitation. It is time to change that. It is time to release ourselves
from our own self created bondage.
When we
accept ourselves just for who we are we transform the moment into peace, security, harmony, joy and love. This process begins
with releasing our limiting beliefs, past mistakes, lack of self worth, pride and ego through the conscious act of forgiveness.
It is up to us as individuals to undertake this journey of healing and conscious awareness.
As we come to know who we are and why we act and react the way we do, we
start to see ourselves in the faces of humanity. The reflection of hurt is our hurt, their pain is our pain, and another’s
anger is our anger, just as laughter and delight reflect our own heart. It is seen in the face of nature too. Her destruction
is our destruction, her beauty is our beauty. Equally in our children we see our potential and in their smile we see our
joy. These seemingly random expressions are our past thoughts seeking manifestation. It is our constant reminder that love
is the answer and the question.
To see love in others,
we must first know it in ourselves. We build a new reality in this present moment when we let go. We change the world when
we change our personal perspective. When we choose love over fear, kindness over hate, integration over separation, and
peace over war, we bring a new reflection to humanity... our loving selves.

Of the incredible changes since we first started, we now get
to meet so many of you more personally through social sites like Facebook. It is a real treat to interact and share
with a rapidly growing list of over 5,200 of you on a daily basis through our special TLF fan page, with many thousands more
through our various TLF personal profile pages and group pages for Global Love Day, Inspiring Unconditional Love and Loving

We now host a weekly virtual online meditation each Sunday in Second Life
where people from around the world come to share and experience a global connection in peace and love in our special Pandora-like

Second Life as well.
Today marks the six month point for our
upcoming 8th Global Love Day next May 1, 2011 – a celebration of our humanity. Since launching Global Love Day in 2004 we are in regular contact with friends
in over 137 countries. We have 289 proclamations and documents from prominent Governors, Mayors, and
Councils and our flyer is in 36 languages along with 43 TLF Country, Regional and State Volunteer Coordinators representing us
in 31 countries.

We have some wonderful updates for our upcoming seventh
annual Global Love Day “celebration of our humanity” on Saturday, May
1, 2010. On the proclamation front we already have 42 new 2010 Governor, Mayor and Council proclamations which brings us to a combined
280 documents as of today. We update the
web site daily with the latest announcements so check back regularly.
Our Global Love Day flyer
is in 35 languages. All of the flyers are available to download and print directly from our site – please share them with your friends, coworkers,
local community centers, coffee houses and businesses.
The World Peace Prayer Society is hosting a special Global
Link Teleconference in honor of Global Love Day on May 1st at 12 Noon US Eastern
/ 4pm UTC/GMT. Harold will be the special guest joining people from around the world. The teleconference is free, however
standard phone charges may apply to join the call. Please register in advance and also find your corresponding time with their online converter.

is hosting a special seminar, “Free Your Mind” in London, and Rick will be hosting meditation and music in Minneapolis…
all in honor of this day.

visiting nursing homes and hospitals, getting together with family and friends, group meditations, or simply being with your

Dear Friends,
There are moments when we reach beyond our
daily affairs, hopes and concerns and unite with the very fabric of life. We may be enjoying a spectacular sunset and
our awareness expands and merges into the colors of the sky itself. Or perhaps while quietly humming a sweet melody,
we begin vibrating in complete harmony with our own being. Gazing into the eyes of another we witness eternity. These
are the instances where we connect and remember the grandness of life and realize our deepest truth. We go past the
physical form and touch the precious love that orchestrates universes, ignites our imagination and breathes life into our
hearts. We become one with all that is.
The rest of our lives are often defined by routines, ingrained
habits, known pathways and traditions. Even though we intuitively understand that there is more, our focus tends
to remain on our external reality since it is the most familiar to us. Occasionally we consciously reconnect with our
inner awareness and often only because circumstances align to capture our attention either through a dramatic experience or
a sublime encounter.
We need not wait for such sporadic challenges or opportunities to stimulate and
expand our consciousness. We can cultivate and sustain our connection to the totality of life by simply embracing our
innate magnificence and maintaining a rhythmic heart-centered awareness. Allowing our love to flow naturally and unimpeded,
we begin to experience the world from a unified perspective where love is always present. The more we do this, the easier
it becomes. This is unconditional love in action and it is what brings true meaning to our existence.
The steps we take and the choices we make are up to us. We can continue to live in response to outer situations and
conditions based on the narrow definitions and limitations we assembled from the past, or we can release our unlimited potential
and express from our greatest vantage point by letting love be our guiding intention. Either way, the oneness of love
is forever and in all aspects of life.

Dear Friends, Maintaining harmony under all circumstances is the key to navigating
through life. By remaining calm and composed in each moment, we keep life in perspective. We are able to connect
with the bigger picture of potential while sorting out appropriate courses of action to address any situation before us.
We can release our attachments and reactions knowing that they are only a small part of the experience. Harmony reveals the
presence of love. Life is an ever changing landscape of experiences and potential. Even the
most seemingly static aspects of physical matter continue to shift, evolve and transform. Whether simply as the dance
of sunlight as it travels across the earth, a boulder slowly becoming a pebble in a meandering creek, or a cell replicating
itself, change is constant. Our awareness is ever changing and evolving too as we expand our mental and emotional capacity
to incorporate broader understandings and perspectives. As self conscious beings, we get to play
within this entire context. Our ability to conceive of something new allows our creative nature to manifest and add
a dimension of love and appreciation to life itself. When we are consciously aware of our creative ability, we can choose
our perspectives and therefore qualify and infuse our thoughts and feelings with our greatest hopes and dreams. We realize
with each breath we are connected to all of creation and proceed in a grand alignment of our heart and mind. We manifest
the potentials that reflect our wisdom and deepest desires. We are in harmony with life because we know we are an integral
part of it. If we forget our creative capacity however, we become reactionary to the forces around
us. We become singular and separate and begin to doubt our dreams. We replace our hopes and desires with feelings of
fear and worry and start to see problems rather than opportunities. This disconnect is a result of relying on outer
circumstances instead of our source of inner wisdom and imagination. The more we focus externally, the more challenging
life becomes. When we remain harmonious, wisdom
flows in from the heart and dispels any doubt or fear. This allows us to come up with creative solutions and imaginative
ways to expand beyond the perceived problem by embracing the opportunity with love. We give ourselves the chance to
change our limited perspective and find new ways to express our unlimited potential. It is through harmony in our feelings

pushed through legislation that could allow extractive and large-scale farming companies to rapidly destroy their Amazon rainforest.
Indigenous peoples have peacefully protested for two months demanding their lawful say in decrees that will contribute
to the devastation of the Amazon's ecology and peoples, and be disastrous for the global climate. But last weekend President
Garcia responded: sending in special forces to suppress protests in violent clashes, and labelling the protesters as terrorists.
These indigenous groups are on the frontline of the struggle to protect our earth -- Let's stand with them and call
on President Alan Garcia (who is widely known to be sensitive to his international reputation) to immediately stop the violence

More than 70 per cent of the Peruvian Amazon is now up for grabs. Giant oil and gas companies, like the Anglo-French
Perenco and the North Americans ConocoPhillips and Talisman Energy, have already pledged multi-billionaire investments in
the region. These extractive industries have a very poor record of bringing benefits to local people and preserving the environment
in developing countries - which is why indigenous groups are asking for internationally-recognized rights to consultation
on the new laws.
For decades the world and indigenous peoples have watched as extractive industries devastated
the rainforest that is home to some and a vital treasure to us all (some climate scientists call the Amazon the "lungs
of the planet" - breathing in the carbon emissions that cause global warming and producing oxygen).
The protests
in Peru are the biggest yet and the most desperate, we can't afford to let them fail. Sign the petition, and encourage your

Most of you are
probably aware that Leonard Peltier has been unjustly imprisoned for 33 years. I will not go into detail but leave it up to
you if you wish to explore this topic more. I heartily recommend "In the Spirit of Crazy Horse" by Peter Mathiessen.
Any way I literally get dozens of petitions each week most of which I favor and sign them and that is that. As you
all know you do not get requests from me for this type of thing at all, never mind dozens of times a week.
In
this case Leonard has been in jail for 33 years so I urge, plead with you to take a couple of minutes to print the letter
to the parole board, sign it and mail it. It is well past the time for Leonard to go home and walk freely on the earth.

I am writing in behalf of Leonard Pelter for his freedom
from prison at his upcoming Parole Hearing. While I am aware of the seriousness of the conviction in his case, I am also aware
of many other issues regarding unfairness in his original trial. Documents show that although the prosecution pointed the
finger at Peltier for shooting FBI agents at close range in 1976, for three years the prosecution withheld critical ballistic
tests proving that the fatal bullets could not have come from the gun tied to Leonard Peltier. However, Mr. Peliter has expressed
sadness for the tragedy that occurred that day at Oglala, and pain for the families of the two agents and the Indian man that
died that day. Please consider that while in prison, Leonard Peltier has been a positive influence in our society.
Leonard Peltier has recently been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for the 6th straight year. He consistently donates
his artwork for charities such as battered women shelters, half way houses, alcohol and drug treatment programs, and Native
American scholarship funds. Thirty-three years is a long time; not just for Leonard Peltier and family, but for many of his
supporters, working and praying for peace, justice, and harmony for sovereign native nations and the USA.

world with limitless potential, unbridled creativity and the capacity to love without measure. Long before our first
breath we are a part of something grand and have an infinite array of options before us. Not only is our birth a miracle
of amazing proportions, we continue to develop throughout life from that first cell with every option, path and possibility
built right in. Who and what we become is up to the choices we make over the span of our lifetime. The
beauty of life is that we can always change our perspective. We are free to choose what we wish to believe, and with
courage, we can chart our own course in life. It is true that many different ideas, circumstances and conditions can
influence what direction we go in, yet none of them are absolute determiners of our journey – we are. Many may
